FREE STICKERS

This year has been about setting new baseline standards. Not a New Year’s resolution or a temporary burst of motivation, but a real shift. Raising the floor. Breaking through ceilings. I’ve been thinking deeply about what I create, what I embody, and what I share, and making sure those things are woven into the fabric of both my being and my business, because for me, the two are deeply connected.

One of the core intentions I set for this year is generosity. Not just in what I share or do, but in what I give. At first, my heart wanted to go big. Loud. Undeniable. But my mind reminded me that generosity should feel expansive, not extractive. When you give more than you truly have the capacity for, the gift eventually becomes a burden. I know that from lived experience. So instead of chasing scale, I asked myself what felt real, what felt sustainable, what felt like me.

I landed on free stickers. Simple, maybe even small, but deeply personal. Growing up skateboarding, stickers carried weight. The bottom of your deck was sacred ground—a collage of scraped paint, dirty wax, and battle scars you carried under your arm like badges of honor. If a logo made it onto your board, it meant something. It represented you. Even though the stickers were technically free, they held value because of the meaning you assigned to them.

I still remember walking into Val Surf on Thousand Oaks Blvd to grab a new deck and pausing in front of the glass case filled with stickers. I’d stand there longer than I needed to, choosing carefully. Maybe it was the artwork. Maybe it was my favorite skater. But if it was going to take up real estate on my board, it had to align with my personal aesthetic.

That’s the feeling I want to recreate with the first tactile Mental Architecture offering. Something you can place on the things you love—your laptop, your journal, your board, your car. Wherever it lands, I hope it serves as a quiet reminder that you’re building from the inside out. If you’d like a few, enter your shipping info below, and we’ll send you a few your way (totally free).

And a genuine thank you to Sticker Robot for making this process seamless. This isn’t a paid endorsement or sponsorship, just appreciation. I believe in paying it forward to those who add real value.

Your friend,

Danny
